Plus edit their Schedule to include many historical top 15 teams just to have a shot at the BCS Title. BYU hardly ever gets invited to a BCS game and there's a reason for that. Their fans don't bring in a lot of entertainment money for the city that is hosting the game.

In real life maybe but you wouldn't have to move them in the game to win a BCS title. I've taken MAC teams like Bowling Green and Ohio University to the BCS title game going undefeated in my first year of a dynasty in past games. Just as long as you change your schedule around and make all your non-conf games ranked BCS teams you shouldn't have any trouble getting BYU to the BCS title game in the Mountain West.

A few issues here...BYU sells out any bowl game they go to anywhere they are invited and often are allowed to dip into the opposing teams allotment of tickets too. They have a rabid following and while they may not buy up the booze when you consider family sizes etc...they stimulate the local economy when they travel while not raising the local crime rate. Bowl hosts love BYU fans, they just aren't the sexy team to invite.

Also they are not in the Mountain West, they are independent. While there schedule has a lot of fluff this year it also has Ole Miss, Utah, TCU, and Texas. Go undefeated and you have a good shot at the BCS title game.

Oh yeah, I forgot they went independent. That would make it even easier to get the BCS title game in your first season. You can just edit the schedule so you play 12 top 25 BCS schools.

Looking forward to this year's game, skipped last year and went with Madden for the first time in 3 years (big mistake). Coming back to NCAA this year. I wish they would develop some new achievements, but I guess their is only so much you can do with a football game. Some of these are the same achievements from 3 years ago.

are you guys interested in doing an online dynasty?

difficulty - all american
recruiting difficulty - varsity
6 minute quarters

advance the week everyday so a game a day minimum. (exceptions can be made but for the most part this is required)

no teambuilders teams.

just post if your interested and the top 3 teams you'd be interested in using!

teams I'm interested in:
1. Penn State
2. Boise State
3. WVU

I love doing dynasties but can't commit to a game per day. I usually run a dynasty that advances thurs and Sunday unless everyone is ready sooner.

A heads up for anyone who hasn't earned the "Dual Threat Coach" cheevo yet:

Apparently there's a slight glitch and this cheevo won't pop for you if you accept a contract extension after the season. I had to wait and get it after my 2nd season cause I had not read about this before finishing my 1st when I accepted an extension to get that particular cheevo. O_o

Edit: Another cheevo I should've read up on was the BYU cheevo. I moved em to the PAC 10 so I could get 2 cheevos with one season but didn't realize BYU has to stay an independent for the BCS champs cheevo to pop. :growl:
