For some reason, my xbox keeps shutting off at random times, and I don't know why. Does anyone know what this could mean, how I could fix it, or just any advice for me? I just got this thing and I'm gonna be pissed if it's broken.

Well, mine shuts off randomly if you touch the HDMI or sound cords. MY cat always steps onto my xbox and makes it restart!!! LOL, Silly Chewy!

I'm going to guess something internally is wrong however, I would personally turn it on and pull of the face plate while I played.It could possibly be that power button is getting stuck or perhaps it's broken?Honestly I've never heard of this happening and I'm just theorizing here.

Dude, don't even get me started on those idiots.Like no joke,the tech support has gotten worst.I was on the phone for over a hour about a gamer picture and they couldn't help me fix the issue.I mean I've called in RROD before and it has just gotten worst(like a new machine was add and it's a lady).
Side note today as I was being lectured to I was thinking if none of these solutions worked before I called MS I would try borrowing a friends power supply, because I do recall the power supplies dying on people.
