With me, I am content with Music games achievements if they are in between easy and hard like Rock Band 2. It varies a lot with lots of random things to do. I am only 10 achievements away from completing Rock Band 2. The only hard ones I have left on Rock Band 2 are the Endless Set list Achievements, the rest are easy.

Music Game Achievements Disccusion Thread

So, I was bored and was thinking how hard some achievements in music games are. I want to know your opinion on them. Have you completed any? Near completion? Stuck on achievements? I want to know!

Almost all band played games like Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band are completely boostable on almost all achievements. so it is half skill half trusting I think?

I have RB2 1K'd along with GH2. I have more than half on GH3, GHSH, RB:Beatles and RB1, have over 900 in GHM and GHA, and have less than 500 in GHWT and GH5 because honestly I just stopped caring about the shit-load of games Neversoft/Activision puts out.
And funny thing I just noticed, the two that I have 1K'd are the best two rhythm games

You beat Jordan on Expert? Or did you just use that one glitch? BTW, tomorrow I am going to get the bladder of steel along with the rest of the endless set list achievements.

Yeah I beat Jordan on Expert. GH2 was my first GH, and it took me about 2 months to go from Easy to decent Expert, then another 2 months to get good enough to beat Jordan. Even now Jordan is still a bitch. It is one of only two songs I cannot consistently 5* with ease (the other being the TTFAF on GH3).

The ones you need a full band like gh:wt and gh:sh suck alot.(no1 plays online band!) Got most of the gh3 and gh2 but don't have any1 decent enough to help with the co-op with gh2 or gh3 Activision needs to stick with one game a year at least sheesh.

A lot of the newer music games require playing obscure modes online like AC1DMAN said, band vs band and stuff like that, and it's retarded because they should've known damn well that everything would be dead a few weeks after release, except whatever the standard guitar vs guitar matchup is.
Who the hell can get together 8 drummers at once? Especially for games as mediocre as GH5 and Band Hero.
Other than that, I still need to go rent GH2 again to beat Freebird, then I'll have every Expert guitar career completed in every music game. I'll probably take the time to practice and beat Jordan too, since I already beat TTFaF and those are the two "badges" to show off plastic guitar skillz.
I really hope they didn't kill the genre by putting out so many mediocre Hero games in such a short time. Before the glut, I was really enjoying how they would come out about once every 9 months, it was just enough for me to get my fix and get friends interested without getting burned out.
