So a few months ago, Mini Ninjas games on demand version was on sale fairly cheap so I bought it. I played it for a while and put it down as life started throwing other stuff in my direction. :no:

My kids saw it on my playlist the other day and they decided they wanted to play the game. No problem, so I re-downloaded the game and played for a few moments. I then handed the controller off to my 12 year old son and he signed my gamertag out and he signed in with his own offline gamertag. The game shut him down immediately and he couldn't play. I then signed myself back in and started the game up again and played for a few moments with no problem. I signed in his gamertag and once again the game shut down. WTF??? :growl:

Xbox.com forum help is useless and the phone jail version is pitiful at best.

Any help would be welcome - thank you.

Did you re-download the game on the same console that you had originally bought it on? If your kid is trying to play it on a console that is not the original console it was downloaded on, your gamertag MUST be signed in while anyone else attempts to play it.

It sounds like it's reading it as a different console from the original one it was purchased on, for whatever reason. It'll work if you just have a wired controller plugged in and signed in as you while he plays, or if you do the DRM transfer thing it should fix it.

Um, no. I transferred all the licenses on the console and launch his GT again then tried to play the game and it would not play.

Any other ideas??

Ok, I just tried Evol's idea of having my GT signed in on a wired controller and allowing him to launch the game from my dashboard on his GT and it worked fine. Thank you very much!!
