I guess I'll be the only one to say something good about this game. You guys all bring up valid points to not like it, but I actually like it for its simplicity. Yes it is too easy on hard, but that makes it playable for achievement whores who may not be good at FPS's. I also like the fact that there are no stupid collecting cheeves so I dont have to spend hours wandering around looking for crap. As far as the multi-player goes you can still play it without the code & as far as the 800 points to get the later maps thats alot less than i shelled out for MW2 maps. And I'm not a big EA fan but the fact that they had a beta has made the multi-player almost glitch free. I do have some complaints about the game but I dont think its the huge peice of shit that it is being made out to be here.

i think its the oposite there assassin.... the singleplayer is too short, its got good content, the mp starts slow but if you continue to play, and unlock stuff it is enjoyable... just my opinion, i know everyone will be critical of my opinion, o well

I finally got it on Friday from Gamefly and I'm enjoying the campaign so far but still haven't tried the MP. I don't care that it's easy on hard. That's why they added this Teir 1 mode. I'm diggin the campaign more than both MW2 and Bad Company 2 because the story is much more based in reality. Don't get me wrong, I loved MW2's campaign but it got a little Red Dawn-ish. I was extremely disappointed in BC2's story.

I haven't even played BC2's campaign yet, just MP.
I got this game off eBay a few days brand new for about $40 so if it turns out that I don't like it, I'll just trade it in or re-sell it.

The single player was way too short. I like the challenge of Tier 1. MP isn't the best but its okay.

Here's a question for you guys. Does the range finder actually do anything? I unlocked it last night and put it on my sniper rifle. I didn't notice any difference. For those of you who have used it, what do you think?

I finished the campaign Thursday night. It was pretty short but I dragged it out over a few nights, playing a few chapters each night so it didn't go by that quickly. The story really wasn't anything spectacular, just another day on the job for these characters. There's no blockbuster plot twist, no super secret WMD, no Red Dawn or Invasion USA scenario. I think they did a good job just illustrating what our forces are going through in Afghanistan. There is plenty of action and but it was laughably easy on hard so I think I'm gonna see how difficult Tier 1 Mode is.
