First off, you will find the Dea Spae 2 Demo is available now; if you're not chilled enough from the cold, then get chilled as you battle necromorphs! If you're like me, and are at work right now, then the download can be queued up right here. Next up, the highly anticipated Bad Company 2: Vietnam expansion pack is available for 1200 Microsoft points. I haven't had the pleasure of tearing into Bad Company 2 just yet, but it is in my ever-growing backlog, and from what I understand the Vietnam expansion is suppose to be a huge addition to the games already impressive amount of content.
Space dismemberment and/or Vietnam not your thing, eh? Well then, how about a trip to Vegas?! Yes, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Fallout: New Vegas' Dead Money DLC is available starting today. The addition to the city of sin will set you pack 800 Microsoft points.
On top of all of that, Microsoft's one day only sales begin today. From today, through December 31st, a new piece of DLC or XBLA game will be on sale for 24 hours. This kicks off with all the Red Dead Redemption content, speaking of Hektic's backlog. Legends and Killers and Liars and Cheats each receive a 50% discount, running you 400 Microsoft points a piece, while the Undead Nightmare Pack receives a 25% discount, setting you back 600 Microsoft Points. For those of you who don't have any of the DLC for Red Dead, then you will be interested in the Undead Nightmare Collection, which also received 25% off, running you 1200 Microsoft points for every RDR DLC to date.
Wait, there's more! Microsoft's 10 day sale also started today! Many arcade games, as well as a game add-on or two go on sale starting today, and running through until December 31st. Check out Kidd's article here for the full details on that. Well, there you have it; if Christmas shopping hasn't broken the bank yet, Microsoft will ensure that your wallet stays empty well into the New Year.
