So when the game first came out I picked up Lost Odyssey, not being much of a fan of Turn Based games I took it back to Gamestop, I thought the story was good from what I played but I just couldn't get that into it.

I was going to get it again and give it another try, like Oblivion it took me a couple times of taking it back to Gamestop and getting it again before I was able to get into it.

So those of you who are into all of these Turn based RPG's, like Melissa Evol and STD and others that picked up the latest Final Fantasy. Is there any pointers you can give me to help make this runthrough of L.O. more enjoyable and IDK....a bit "easier" to play?

Any advice will be greatly apreciated!

for Lost Odyssey, you either have to be very strategic with pretty much all enemy encounters or you have to grind a bit for every new major portion of the game. LO is an RPG where you can't just plow through enemies using just the basic attack command (unless you level quite a bit), you have to use your mages to cast spells on enemies and buff your characters to deal decent damage and not take much damage yourself.

What about this spell Gamble? I heard that made the game pretty easy? I want to play this game and get some achievements, but I want to see how the story unfolds.

lost od is pretty easy man.
if you're going for the completion though... look out, lol.

you'll figure out who's best at what no problem. have your fighters in the front and your casters in the back, just like every other turn-based RPG, basically. not much else i can say. i can't remember having any trouble with it, lol.

Thanks for the helps guys, I guess I was having trouble with it because I don't play many Turn based games so I'm not that strong from a strategic stand-point...I'm more of a run & gun or hack & slash type.

Thanks for everyones input, it's only $15 at gamestop so I might go pick it up tomorrow.

Yea i actually just won a guide for this game off ebay, thanks to melissa, so as soon as i get my guide in the mail im gonna go back n get back into this game...im at the beginnin of disc 4 but then i stopped playin it for somethin else and never did go back and play it so i completely forget everything about it. If ur lookin for a guide ull have to ebay one since they are now out of print. I won mine for $11 so thats cheaper then they were when they first came out, but as far as the game i actually enjoyed this game alot. Thought it was one of the most underrated games that came out that year. Ill help ya out when i get my guide in if u still need it, let me kno.
