The fact that you took the time to create a thread about it (lol, you win sir) leads me to believe you need a doctor.

Ha i had one / still kinda do have one, all the doctors do is put a screwdriver under your toe and lift up and cut a lot of it off, and it hurt pretty bad, now i cut my own and its not as bad

And Meta is a doctor in real life, after I sprained my left wrist he helped me amputate it with a butter knife ever since I have had no pain in my left wrist Thank you Meta

go to the doctor. i went when i had one. ingrown toenails are genetic. you can have the cleanest, clipped regularly, best groomed feet in the world and still get them. IDK what kind of doctor meister went to but that's not what they did to mine. with me they gave me a shot in my toe. then they cut the side that was growing into my skin. then once they had cut through the nail they simply slid it off. wrapped my toe in gauze and sent me on my way. a few days later i removed the gauze and it was already healing. now i clip my toenails regularly and i never have to worry about it becoming ingrown again because the way they cut it.... that side doesn't grow out far anymore... perfect solution.

I don't have a weak stomach usually but for some reason this video almost made me puke. don't know why but that was so gross. I have been battling an ingrown toe nail on my left foot for about 3 years now lol at the moment it doesn't hurt or anything it's just kinda bigger on one side of the toe, but at one point it was almost as bad as that guys foot in the video where there was blood and puss coming out of one side constantly and at the end of the day my sock would be all gross. I haven't had a problem with it in a while *knock on wood*.

Dude, soak your foot in a tub of warm water with some epsom salt in it, it softens the skin AND the nail so it's easier to fight with. My grandma told me horrible things after telling me this little trick, things I didn't need to know, but may try someday... She had the nails on her big toes surgically removed cause she kept getting ingrown nails.
