so after more than 30 hours of play. possibly close to 35, i FINALLY hit 50% complete. next up, finnishing off those resource crates, faction items, faction missions, road kills, races, colonels, and flying low to the ground for 30 seconds. the rest of the chievos i don't really think i'l be getting. itl take too much more time. all the ones i just named im really close to getting, so i think i will

Yea games great, I always end up gettin around to playin a few missions every 2 weeks or so but i never find the time to just sit and play it for hours at a time. Great, fun, huge, open world game though, glad i bought it.

@ Detroit, yes if u enjoy crazy over the top open world games, definately worth a buy. The game. is. MASSIVE. Just dont expect to get caught up in the storyline its kind of bland and just there for filler/amusement

Been thinknig about this game, but im not sure. Im probably going to get Splinter Cell First

Eh Splinter Cells so easy and short though. Beat that game on Realistic in under 7 hours and only reason I played anymore of the single player was to grind out the last challenges I had left. Id only get Splinter Cell over this game if you have someone to Coop with, thats the only replay value that game holds.

JC2 and SCC seem to be going for around the same price. I could probably get them for $30, Ive never played a Splinter cell game in my life and GTA Episodes is my open world fix for now. I could probably buy one and then trade is for the other down the road. Which should I get first though?

That all depends on ur preference, SC is just a basic stealthy 3rd person shooter but with linear levels where u go from point A to B doing objectives. JC2 throws u right into the action on an enormous island with over 300 locations and basically lets u do what u want, after completing so many faction missions and side missions it opens up another story mission which u can do at any time. There r only 7 main story missions in the game but a crazy amount of side quests/territories to liberate/objectives. I havent beat JC2 yet but i personally find it more fun and tons more to do than SC. SC u can beat and 1k in about a day with a partner for the Coop stuff, JC2 will take u a ton of hours to do everything/explore and find all the easter eggs and collectibles.

i loved this game, though didnt have enough time to get past 50% completion. still, a great work ill pick up used in the future again so i can finish it. So much to do, so little time. only thing i hated was if u completed an airfield, the planes stopped spawning. i almost lost all chances of flying the big DC-10 cargo plane but found the other airport.

I didnt kno about that, good thing u mentioned it or i probably would have messed that up and done the same thing haha, flying jets in the game is awesome once u get the hang of the flight controls

im lovin this game. my fave thing to do is raise up my heat, then when some faction buddies come to help ya out, jump on their vehicle (or any vehicle really, but a lot of the others stop and run if you stunt jump em) and as the enemies come up behind ya. dual hook em to the ground or each other xD that NEVER gets old.
this game is awesome. js

i had no idea planes stopped spawning. i never really use them enough to notice i guess. generally if i want to travel its either right after i do a flying race and im already in a plane, or i just extract to the closest place to where i want to go and grappling hook/parachute my way there THAT is the best way to travel across land in my opinion

bump/double post.
i don't know if theres anybody out there besides me whos still playing this game, but i've got a few things to say.
1. i FINALLY just hit 75% now i've just gotta finnish those cars and a little bit of some other stuff and im DONE
2. in case anybody is looking for those cars, i've found the Vanderbilt bus THREE times in the past 7. yeah. so i don't know what that means, but i feel like maybe the car suddenly became more commonly found? im not sure. but i think its weird that i've found it three times in 3 totally different places

I still try and play this game whenever I can and love it. Had a blast with everything in the game with only a few minor complaints, I'm only like 40% done with the game I think after completing the main story and doin a ton of side stuff, eventually I wanna go back and get the 75% and the other miscellaneous achieves I haven't gotten yet like the faction items and kill 25 generals. I think the cars spawn more often when you're in different types of vehicles and such much like GTA and SR but I'm not positive on that since there are so many different types of them in the game.
