it should be tied to the region your from, because if people from UK sign up, they can't be limited to just importing.

RULES
This how it works the team with the most gamerscore gain wins the monthly competition. Partners need to decide on team names. If you are caught with many offline achievements when the competition first starts, your team will get disqualified. About half way through the month of July, I will post the thread for the August sign up. If you have any questions or if you feel someone is cheating message me (Tom Peeper) and I will check in to it. Thanks to all and good luck!
No mention of no PAL/JAP/PC. Anyone can get any import game. Ebay and Play asia are 2 examples.

If you want to make rules to limit what people can play then how about rules that take all the fun out of it
1. If you are unemployed you can only play 4 hours a day to make it fair to the people who have to work
2. If you do have a job no new release games to make it fair for the people who can't afford them
3. only allowed to play sport games from the current year
4. not allowed multi-player/ co-op achievements because that is having someone help you
5. no odd point achievements they make the leaderboard look chaotic
6. if over 50% of the people in the competition have played a game all ready then no one is allowed to play it for points
7. anyone over 150000 gamerscore gets a 50% bonus on their points
8. if your team is in the lead you have to quit playing and let everyone catch up
9. if you post in the forum for the tournament about anything not tournament related your team is docked 500 points.
Just some examples but if everyone gets together then I'm sure all the rules could be laid out to take all the fun out of these.

I don't see the problem with it. Mike and Repo paid for the systems and games to get those points, who cares what region they are. Look at AJ and Circus? They are leading with only US games and they're both high GS, so everyone complaining has no reason to.

Dam!! Strict much?
think limiting the time that can be played it ok but within reason if your close to an achievement and at 4 hour of play to day finish that achievement then stop.
and even if you don't have a job should not limit what all you can play maybe i know when i was not working i could still afford a new video game every couple of months it is not up to up to manage someone eases fiances
for a alone players score contest then maybe not co op achievements but in a team up like this this it is a great option! but you have to do them with the person that your teaming up with.
so if you have a high gamer score you get a bonus? WTF?
and quit if your ahead, um NO this is a Competition maybe limit it if one team is up a crazy amount above everyone else lets say 4000 pts.
My two cents

I believe you missed his sarcasm. He was making a point. He was being sarcastic about the people who are complaining about him having a JAP, and PAL 360. So he said if you're gonna complain that that's unfair, you have to address all the other issues as well.

I can set up a solo challenge for August on the 360voice site if you guys are interested. I will set it up on August 1st as an invite only challenge, which means I will have to send you a code to join the challenge.
We have to move quickly on this as I will need all interested parties to send me a PM so I can respond back with the challenge code on Sunday when I create the contest on 360voice.
I should have time to post a link to the challenge tracker throughout the month of August. 360v takes care of the scoring.
