Starting March 8th, there will be an open multiplayer beta for Blur. You can sign up for a free account and get a code to access the event:

What you will need to do is sign up for a free FilePlanet account if you don't have one, get an Activision code from them, and then go to the official website's Beta page to update your Activision registration and input the code. If you don't have an Activision account, they are also free and you can opt out of mailings.
For those who don't know, Blur is an action-racing game that uses real-world cars but lets you use power-ups to shoot missles, lay traps, and other things similar to Twisted Metal or Full Auto. You can read a preview of the multiplayer at this IGN link. They call it a mix of "Mario Kart, Project Gotham Racing and Burnout" which makes sense as it's the same developer that made the PGR games and the visuals look a lot like Burnout.
