"The Batman 3 casting rumours have so far been numerous and vague, but at least one thing’s for certain – Johnny Depp will definitely play The Riddler.

That’s a stone cold fact. You heard it here first. Why are we so sure that Johnny Depp will play The Riddler in Batman 3? Because Johnny Depp recently briefly mumbled something desperately ambiguous about it possibly being quite fun to maybe play The Riddler during a local radio interview with his band.

See? That’s means Johnny Depp is definitely going to be The Riddler in Batman 3, which is why we’ve already started to manufacture a set of Johnny Depp Batman 3 Riddler action figures. OK, admittedly we just got a load of unsold Pirates Of The Caribbean action figures and Tippexed question marks onto their backs but – face it – that’s probably what he’ll be like in the film anyway." -From source

I'll take ten of those figures. Personally I think the next Batman should follow the Arkham Asylum game story line. That would be cool.

Anyway, I think Johnny Depp would make a decent Riddler. I mean The Mad Hatter, Jack Sparrow, Willy Wonka, and The Riddler, aren't all in their right minds. But could he top Jim Carrey's performance?

Eh... I think they could find someone better. Johnny Depp is usually good, but I just can't see him as the Riddler. The Riddler isn't crazy, like Johnny would most likely make him. He's just smart, and ahead of the curve.

But I am glad Nolan is leaning towards the Riddler instead of someone like the Penguin. If he takes his time, Batman 3 should be fantastic, like the previous two.

Johnny Depp is a TERRIFIC actor, he's not limited to crazy roles. I think he'd nail it if he really gets the nod.

I love Johnny Depp. It would certainly be a good role for him, he's always good in the odd roles, especially in Tim Burton movies. The Riddler has an odd personality and role which I think Johnny Depp may fit it ... but who knows.

I was hoping the next one would do the Knightfall storyline with Jean Paul and Azrael and all that good stuff but oh well. Next time!
