Do others think that developers and/or publishers should give you the online achievements after they shut down their servers. I believe it is unfair for us to buy their games and they give us achievements that are unobtainable. I mean some people are poor when they get a 360 finally and have to buy older games, yet get nothing for them but just to play.

EA are not the only ones that do it though, 2K does it too. NBA 2k12 servers shut down 13 months after release. It's just crap I think.

LOL, That's pretty funny, I do not know if THQ has started doing the server shutdown crap, I hope for my Gamerscore's sake, they do not. But you do or don't agree that the publishers should give the acheivements to the players after the servers shutdown.

I feel you bro. It doesn't matter how many people agree with you though, it's not our decision. If I had it my way every sports game would remain able to play online, it sucks when you have a 07-09 game with 1 more cheevo that's an online one. Realtalk

Also if they just went around giving out the achievements now, I think that a lot of people who got them legit (or boosted) would be pissed off. (Think of Retirement Savings Plan in Army of Two)

Then to offset that, they should open of the server for the game for a month or so then go to another for specials or something to make them obtainable.

I got a refund on LOTR Conquest. They should not be allowed to sell any game "NEW" at full price if half the content is shut down. Used games...well you should know what your buying.

I am a game collector, I do not return any games I buy for they will stop selling the 360 games when the new xbox comes out, like they did with original xbox games. I like the msp idea though and agree with the half price on new games when half the content is blocked.
