i am all for this. SOPA is a bullshit bill, not a single entity can "own" the internet. its intangible. our govt shouldnt be allowed to rule our lives on something like this. totalitarian dictatorship.

I'm all for this, I really am. But if I have to be without the web tomorrow........well maybe its a good time for all of us to find a new hobby, how about snail mail instead of email? Faxing instead of instant messaging? Real shit talking instead of being a keyboard tough guy?
All the stuff we could do lol.
But yeah eff being controlled by the government on the web. Shit is too stupid if you ask me.

I've been advocating against SOPA/PIPA since day one. They're absolutely disgusting. Thankfully, I have no faith that they will ever pass. From what I understand, Obama is quite opposed, and I don't think they have enough support in their respective houses of Congress to pass.
But I am all for joining in the protest. The internet cannot be completely void of copyright infringement and piracy. Its not possible. There will always be ways around, and Anonymous has out backs anyway. If the Israeli government is afraid of Anonymous, I think the US government should be even more so.

Agreed. 925 days and counting.....Jackson said the only log in streak that will NOT go away will be the 3 year streak. Once I hit that, I will be willing to miss a day. lol.

I wouldn't start writing any posts that you can't finish in five minutes.

I thought this was pretty cool too, even if I did go in to XBA withdrawal since I had already been absent a day prior.
I followed a good link from Wikipedia's blackout page and shot my congressman an angry e-mail as well as harassing his Twitter. I'm going to actually call his office tomorrow I think.

Controlling the internet is like trying to control the wind.
I see this as a money grab - the idiots in DC just want to levy one more tax.
