I have 2 games that are easy achievements, but I can't seem to get them to work and I am hella pissed. The disks are scratched and I cant find the best way to fix them. Any advice?

I have already tried:

Cleaning with Alchohol
Cleaning with water


Help!!!

Follow this step. Hope it work for you.

Step 1
Use a clean, dry paintbrush to wipe excess dust from the disk. Try placing the disk in the XBox 360 to see if it works. If it still does not work, go on to Step 2.

Step 2
Use a clean eyeglass polishing cloth to polish the disk in a vertical motion, moving from the inside of the disk to the outside. Do not polish the disk in a circular motion.

Step 3
Apply a small amount of glass cleaner to the polishing cloth. Polish in a vertical motion, moving from the inside to the outside of the disk until the disc is dry.

Step 4
Place a very small amount of car wax on the polishing cloth if you are still unable to use the disk. Polish the disk in the same vertical, outward motion. The car wax will work to fill in any small scratches that may still exist on the disk.

Step 5
Consider returning the disk to your retailer or purchasing a new copy of the game if the disk still does not work.

About 11 years ago (when I was in 10th grade) my computer teacher told me to do that to clean my CDs. He also said to try Peanut Butter too, but that didn't help at all.

YUP! or if you spread a thin layer of toothpaste on the disc...let is sit and get crust like and then wash it off WORKS GREAT!

there's a local game store that has a disc resurfacer machine. it really does work wonders. you might want to call around to local stores to see if they have one.
