Well you could do that but after like 57 kills without dieing your probably wondering why you dont have a nuke yet. Its because care packages & emergency airdrops dont count toward you kill streak at all

Are you sure? I mean, in call of duty 4, I got a helicopter, it killed 7 people, and I got another helicopter... You mean it's not like that in Modern Warfare 2?

For the reason that IW wanted a nuke to be hard to achieve they made it so that the killstreak rewards didnt add onto the killstreak giving more rewards. So no nuke from just sitting in a corner.
wrong, everything except emp (obviously....), care package and emergency care package adds onto your streak

I havnt played COD4 in awhile but i dont belive you get more killstreaks after the helicoptor you must've killed seven ppl by yourself again

yea, if you get something awesome from a care package or emergency air drop, like a pavelow or chopper gunner or ac130, none of those kills will count towards your overall killstreak. but if you EARN the kills for a pavelow, ac130, etc...then yes those will count towards the 25 to getting a nuke. but emergency airdops and care packages dont count

CORRECT, also if you die THEN activate your earned killstreak (not care-package streak) then it will not count towards your killstreak. So if you get a harrier then die and activate that harrier, the kills wont count towards your kill streak.
