what do you think of it. G4 say a better ver. of second life. If you know what second life is, all i know it's like a sim online thing.

Here is what I think. It is a catchy gimmick that will be initially cool, but will become

IMO, Sony's biggest flaw in this console release is trying to make the PS3 the focal point of home entertainment, therefore distancing itself from being a core gaming unit.

As for Home, it will be cute and fun for a while, until people get tired of wasting time walking around doing shit that you want to see instantaneously (who's on, achievements, buying/downloading stuff, etc..) Why walk to various areas in the virtual world when you can hit a screen from a menu and accomplish it thrice as fast.

Having created mini-avatars with Coke, Pepsi and Disney, I personal got bored of the whole mundane experience after a while.
