Don't be so sure of that. My wife's car was rear ended once, and it appeared, on the outside, to be a cheap fix. When we had it appraised, we found out the extent of the damages. Not only was the paint scratched and the bumper dented in, but where it was hit, it also dented in the wheel well, so that had to be pounded out as well. All in all, what looked like a "small" dent which just needed knocked out and repainted, ended up being about $1200. I am so glad that chick that hit us had insurance.

I worked at a body shop for 7 years, even a surface scratch is at a minimum 500 bucks to fill that scratch and buff the whole panel where the scratch is (if you go to an actual shop and not repair it yourself). Nothing cosmetic can be fixed (paint-wise) for under 500 bucks, unless you go to Maaco, then you can have your whole car, house, boat, motorcycle, RV, trailer, and so on done for 10 bucks.

aj, stop being a prick on a forum and go fucking do something w/ your life beside having 11k posts (90% of which are spamming, flaming, bitching, whining, etc etc) on a god damned internet forum and getting into atleast one argument a day. thats all im saying, now im going back on topic.
its deff her fault. i actually took my learners permit test thing like back at the end of nov, and thats one of the important things you remember. when youre backing up, make sure no one or nothing is behind there and always check. if anything, that should just become a habit as a driver. deff her fault, even if she wont admit it

think he is doing pretty good with his life.....a bachelors degree and a masters degree in a couple different areas.....plus having a full time job.
