HD Gaming

Last Christmas I purchased my first HDTV and was really excited to get home and try gaming on it. However I was quite disappointed with the input delay with my Wii and PS3, I still haven't bought all the HD cables and stuff for my X360 and PS3 but do you guys think playing in HDMI would really make a difference?

Always goota take the response time into account. You will preobably want to look for a "monitor" rather than a tv if you wanted nearly no delay. I found a 24" monitor with HDMI with a 2ms resonse time, and it works great.

How do you hook a console up to a PC monitor though? I'm guessing an adapter or something but I could be wrong.

I have an HDTV monitor. It has 2 HDMI inputs, 1 Component, and a PC plug in.

Plus there is a VGA cable for Xbox 360, I used to use that before I got an HDTV.

There are monitors with component inputs. But if you are using HDMI just plug it right in because most new monitors come with HDMI, but if its a DVI you can find a HDMI to DVI cables for pretty cheap. And microsoft makes an official VGA cable so that is also an option.

Ive had my HDTV for over a year and a half and i play using a universal HDMI cable for my 360/PS3 that i got from gamestop and i have no input delay at all, my computer monitors really nice too and has a hdmi port and somethin else but i dont ever hook my 360 to it, just use my computer with GfWL.
