wow, i didnt realize the ipads were THAT expensive sitting at 829 bucks. for that price, I could easily buy a pretty done up laptop, and get service for a wireless card to have internet service on the go. What a rip off just to say, you can touch your screen.

Lol, Not to mention, on that laptop, I could install GFWL, buy and install their "game apps" and earn some achievements on the go without having to lay a finger print on the screen.

To sum that all up.... Ipad= FAIL.

How can it equals fail when it sold 300,00 day ONE! Obviously it is a success even if people who don't even own one say it isn't. Individuals who purchased one (I have 5 friends that did) say that it is amazing and movies, games, and the book feature is worth every penny.

Simply put...if you haven't tried one or don't own one it is a waste of time to comment on how good/bad it is. I can understand the price is off putting for some of you, but there are 300,000 people out there that do not share that opinion.

Apple=GREAT business minds and sales strategy. They put money in the bank...PERIOD. And that's what business is about.

Why is it people always claim "fanboy" when someone points out a FACT? I give you sales FACTS and you claim "fanboy" lets be serious. It is FACT that Apple is great business and people love their product. I was simply stating that it can't Equals fail when in reality it pulls in money. That is amazing sales tactics and marketing. From a business stand point. If I were a "fanboy" wouldn't I have one?

So, before you call people "fanboys" check your facts and give a valid argument instead of jumping to conclusions. Are you aware of what marketing and sales strategy even is? If you can't give Apple their due credit then you Sir are simply jaded for one reason or another.

$800 Laptop > $800 fat ass ipod touch

One day you will be able to look outside the box. I have an iPhone and iTouch and from what I've seen of my friends the iPad is far more than either of my iDevices.

One day you will be able to look at things objectively instead of with bias. I can see where you think they are the same, but they simply are not the same. Continued sales means something is Good and the popular vote states the iPad is good...period.

Apple makes good stuff. I wont lie about that. Ipods, Phones Macbooks, etc.....

But when you create a loyal fan base......people will still follow you.

The iPad is fucking dumb as shit. Why would people buy it? Because its apple. Plain and simple. That 300,000 first day buyers....ALL of em...either have a iphone, ipod, or a mac. No doubt. And i bet anything they will use their other items more then they will ever use the stupid ipad.

This old guy I know has one. He likes to get the new shit so he can feel young, but even he said he wish he didn't buy it. It's almost JUST like the iPod touch. I have like 4 laptops, 2 desktops and 2 iPods to play games, and watch movies on. Have my 360 for movies also. And IF I want to read a book, I go to the book store and buy one. Old school style. With the Harry Potter bookmark and all. LOL! But yeah, it's a pointless buy, IMO. They need to stop making this pointless crap, and make a time machine already. Lol.

I have an ipad and its ok I like it better then the ipod touch becaus ethe screen is bigger.

I can see this being a better buy for a more older crowd. Since it's a little bit like a computer but not as complex it would be easier for an older person to understand (and read)
