Yeah, my days of getting up at the butt crack of dawn for kegs and eggs and drinking Guinness all day on St Paddy's Day are long gone. I cracked a couple Yuenglings at midnight here and I have a six of Guinness Black Lager for tomorrow night. Even with it falling on a Saturday I still can't devote the the day to drinking like I used to.

I thought about headin down to Chicago this weekend, was gonna spend the weekend with a friend that I haven't seen since high school but instead I'll be headin downtown to the bars here in Minneapolis but in the mean time me and my gf are headin to the casino.

St. Patrick's Day 2003 (aka Revenge of the Turds)
Savannah's River Street is the hot spot to hit up on St. Pats (think cobblestone streets and a walk by the river).
All the bars were out of ice. All of them! Bar toilets had clogged and overflowed. Beer was hot. Beer on tap had ran out. You can't take glass on the street, so your bottled beer had to go into plastic cups. The only beer left was the sure enough rot gut. Icehouse anyone?
Porta potties had overflowed. I pissed on my leg cause I was unable to properly squat. We got stuck in an elevator and some guy started puking.
On the 3 mile hike back to the car, my friend stepped in an unidentified pile of shit. Let's hope it wasn't human (it totally was). She had to throw her shoe away.
You'd have thought I'd learn a lesson, but forever the optimist, I still went again the next year.
Edit: Apologies to any Icehouse fans. I have a friend who enjoys it. Personally, I would sooner consume an entire bottle of Thunderbird.
