Halo 3 on Legendary

I'm not sure if this has been posted at all, I've looked and looked and didn't find it...anyway, my son and i beat a leve on Legendary on Halo 3 but once that level was over and the next began, we exited out and when I checked I didn't have credit for beating this paticular level on Legendary. Do you have to play straight through from the beginning to the end on legendary or can you load up chapters and do it that way. Also, how can you tell if a chapter was beaten on Legendary? Any help would be appreciated.. :cool:

You get credit for beating it on co-op, not for single player.
Did you finish the whole mission?

If you finish A mission (from start to finish) co-op or single player, you will get credit FOR THAT LEVEL ONLY.

If you did not get credit for co-op or single player then you did not play through the whole level. Do it again and you'll get credit.

Actually guys you can get a Legendary medal for Single and Co-op for the same mission. Although if you could manage to beat the game on legendary by yourself. You can have all the braggin rights in the world. These halo games keep getting harder and harder. Still cant wait for Halo Reach.

For anyone that may still need help..I beat Halo 3 on Legendary using 2 controllers, with controller 1 I would go out and kill all the enemies..I got killed alot, I had the 2nd controller stay back in hiding, once I cleared all the enemies I'd advance both controllers up until I came to more enemies..then I'd just repeat what I just did..kill all enemies until they were gone with 1st controller, then advance both controllers when it was clear..I did this until I beat the game

@chrisarcade: I did NOT know about the Co-Op idea with my own 360 and an extra controller. Luckily, I had 3 people to run through it with a very long time ago. Great idea for others though.

Although I already have it done on Legendary, I would be willing to do it again to help you buddy. As soon as we finish Gears 2, lol.

Also, do you need the Meta Games? I never did finish those.....
