Then you are the exception. Just about every Gamestop I walk into around Asheville NC has a bunch of #$$holes working there. This kinda thing happened to me when I went to get Mass Effect 2. They said they aren't taking any more reservations for the CE and that I had to buy Dragon's Age if I wanted another set of armor. I would have been alot more recepetive to it if they didn't have a poor attitude about it. It was almost as if they were laughing at me for being late in preordering it. Another occasion came several years ago when I told a manager at another Gamestop here in town that I wasn't interested in getting any used games. He said; "You not interested in saving money?" I was like; "Yeah, I like to save money, in fact, I'm gonna save myself about 60 bucks today." Friggin' jerks. On the otherhand though. I have noticed a significant difference in the jerks here and other GS employees when I go out of town.

I have something like 10 Gamestops in relatively close distance to me, and employees at about half of them are assholes. One Gamestop, a former Funcoland (whoa, way back!), I cannot even stand having a conversation with; I only go there when I'm returning used games I completed before the return period. I was actually there the other day and I had mentioned, in passing, the upcoming USB storage option for the 360, and the employee stood there arguing with me saying that it wasn't true and unconfirmed by Microsoft. I'm like what? The flash drives are listed on your website!!!

most Gamestop employees just have big heads because they think they're better than you (the customer) since they have a job there. i laugh at them because it's not THAT great to have a job at a game store honestly. the shit you have to deal with doesn't make it really worthwhile (arguable point, though...)

friend of mine works at a Play-n-Trade and he hates dealing with customers and the clueless people and wants to quit xD

Screw Gamestop. They tried to sell me used accessories at a new price. When I called them on it they said "Well, it's new but it's out of the packaging so we put it in the used packaging. But it's still full price."

Yeah. My last ex was a whore but she told me she wasn't cheating. Now she's my ex. And I never shop at Gamestop.

yeah, i've always been annoyed by the fact that they open new games to put them on display on the shelves. then when they run out of sealed copies, the person who gets the one off the shelf has to pay the "new" price tag for it. i never liked how they did that. sure technically it's still new since the game itself hasn't been played, but it's open, and when i buy a "new" game, i want it factory sealed.

i'm pretty sure they have plenty of spare cases laying around in the back that they can make a custom display box by copying and printing out the covers and putting those on the shelves instead -_-

Some shmuck who earns minimum wage in his after-school job or some 40 year old virgin type think they are better then those who have the money to spend in their places of employment. At least in my area, I have found it better to not talk with the employees at Game Stop unless you absolutely have to.
