I've never heard any Gamestop employee, at any of the many locations near me, notify a customer of missing out on the DLC by buying it used. Although, a little bit of personal responsibility comes into play here, as well; if you were that concerned about the DLC, why not ask about it?
On a side note, I also noticed that Gamestop caught on to the whole buy DLC packs used, install it, and return it, as my latest receipt clearly states "No returns on DLC Discs". Took them long enough; at least I got Shivering Isles out of the deal :-D

It makes sense that a game that came with a unique code, but was returned, doesn't have this code anymore, no?
I mean it's kind of common sense. They can't trust people returning a code and saying that they haven't used it or something (expect a bigger law suit over a non-working code)
Plus, free DLC has always been an incentive to buy the game new, and NOT used ;p
Buuuuut it isn't in their power to just change the packaging that says "free DLC" on it, 'cause that's the cover of the game.
Idk. That's just my position. I don't deny that EB's pricing for used games is RETARDED, but no one can sue them for it >.>

Collins claimed to have bought the game due to the cover stating that there was additional free DLC, which he then had to purchase for $15, making an overall $10 loss on his purchase.
This is what got me here if the cover says something, and it's used, it goes back to your comment about common sense. Game+Used= EVERYTHING'S USED. So he's sueing because he couldn't do that math;plus when people trade in game they dont always take everything off or out, can't tell you how many games still had the secruity device still in them when i got them used
