Not to sound like a dick, but why would we ask other sites? We get people all the time that promise helping out the site and how awesome they were at other sites and usually they just end up leaving eventually with all their promises broken....

youve also got to remember, this is the internet. what you type here, are just words. in retrospect, they dont really mean anything aside from the message you are hoping to portray. thus, its EXTREMELY easy to lie over the internet. i think thats why minioger was trying to get at. its just so easy to lie, how can you expect us to trust you so easily? all hes trying to say, is just be a little more active in the community, make some friends, etc etc...basically, just earn a little respect on the forums. this is the internet, youve got to earn respect before people will start trusting/believing you about things like this.
now, say if someone who had respect posted this (like, say, me or minioger or melissa or someone like that) people would probably go for it, because weve been here a good while, earned our respect, and people would believe us trying to help the site, even if the person themselves doing it also benifits.
youre right, making the site better is a priority to some people. we always love watching a great site and community improve. but were not going to just so easily help 'improve the site' by greatly benifiting some random new guy, simply because he said so. were not trying to be mean or trash you, but i mean, honestly...you need to get some respect/ground on the forum if you want anyone to listen
