well u can ask dan2fag he is at gamestop.. but my friend got a call from gamestop on monday and they started to pre-order ps3's on tuesdays.. so he has it pre-ordered.. as far as wii goes, gamestop says probably this time next week.. keep in mind each gamestop place will get like maybe 3 of each

It was in the news this morning that PS3 preorders started today at EB and GS. I think your too late now, though, cause preorders for the PS3 are about $1000 now on eBay.

Yes, the internet rumors are true about EB/GS taking pre-orders for the Wii on Friday 10/13.
HOWEVER, there is a big catch (according to my guy). EB/GS are ONLY offering the pre-order to those that pre-ordered any Wii games, will they will get a call tonight to come in and pre-order a console. From my understanding, it will be up to the individual store Manager on who and how they let pre-orders occur after the above mentioned are satisfied, but after the 360 fiasco, stores are being watched like a hawk and playing it pretty much by the rules. In addition, EB/GS is receiving fewer units for the Wii than first thought, which is why they are using this policy.
Bottom line is that if you want a Wii from EB/Gamestop, get yourself up there today to find out if that store is sticking with the policy of pre-ordered games only.

Thanks, I just called to see what thay had to say about that.
They said its just first come first serve.
they are only getting 14 wii's in so when should I head out there to get one?? my guess is 3 hours before opening.
I also forgot to ask them when the store opens :) so if any of you know please tell :) Its the game stop in powell/Lewis Center, OH.
Is any one from XBO going to that gamestop to pre-order tomarrow morning?
