Anyone else pick this up yet?
It has 20 regular achievements, for the base 200 GS, in the 800 MSP game. And another 3 achievements, for another 50 GS, in the Texas Heat add on.
So far it seems alright. After 1 ranked tourney, and the first Pro Take-down, I have 9 achievements already.

No. This was what was supposed to be the replacement for 1 vs 100. It's unacceptable IMO and I won't be picking this one up unless they make it to where you can win MSP or other prizes.

You can, in the Texas Heat DLC, which is free. From what I hear, you can download that alone and just do those events.

the biggest diff between this and 1 vs 100 is i didnt have to buy 1 vs 100

The Texas Heat games, which will have prizes and such, ARE FREE. To everyone. The stand alone game is 800 points...

I took part in the beta of this program. It had some serious potential to replace 1 vs. 100. I will be plopping down some cash and picking up the stand alone game along with the Texas Heat games.

IDK, Apophis was part of the Beta, he's the one who told me that the Heat was free for everyone to use.
The first one is on Saturday.

For wp7, do the achivements double up?
I bought the game, it is a pain to find an online game.
The game is a heck of fun.
Advice; no hope for a flush you never get them.

I also did the Beta test for this game and it was a lot of fun! I played in every show I was home for. I played with Apophis and if they would've had the leaderboard working, it would've been awesome. The beta didn't allow us to play anything but the Texas Heat mode, so I don't know anything about the standalone game, but as long as there is no "get every hand" achievement, I will be buying this for sure!
