So I wanna know what your guys favorite bands are and why

I'll start, I dont have a favorite band but i have many favorites, to name a few: green day, the used, atreyu, taking back sunday, breaking bejamin, and many more, I mainly like them because their songs have true meaning and i enjoy their sound

Suicide Silence - I love listening to them when I lift weights and run. Not something to listen to with the family, but I really like them.

Stone Temple Pilots - I've liked them as long as I can remember, love their sound. Scott Weiland is my favorite singer of all time.

Slipknot - They don't have a single song that I don't like, and they have a pretty original sound. They have some slower, more melodic songs, and some hardcore metal. Probably my favorite band.

Alice In Chains - " Rooster " is my favorite song of all time. Their stuff is hit or miss, though, in my opinion.

Have to say my all time favortie band is Winds Of Plague, sen them live 4 times they put on a show, and all their songs are just unique, none sound the same
