Just finished this DLC and was pleasantly surpised. The first DLC pack "Dead Money" is widely considered the worst DLC of the entire franchise so I opted to skip it and download this one. It offers a large area to explore and three temporary squad mates all of whom I enjoyed. It also introduces one of the best fallout characters ive seen "The Burning Man" who is the central figure of the DLC. You do sidequests for two allied "Tribes" of which are lead by religious zealots, one militant and one pacifist. Against a barbaric tribe trying to prove worthy of legion membership. It all sets up perfectly for a entirely different atmosphere and feel to the main storyline. Explorable area, new weapons, interesting characters and a new level cap are among many reasons I recommend this DLC to Fallout Fans.

I don't care how shitty Dead Money supposedly is, I'll still be playing it after I finish my Hardcore run-thru. I downloaded all three packs and plan on playing them in order of release. I've got over 70 hours invested in this game so far. Other than an hour or two of RB3 here or there, this is the only game I've played for the last two months.

It's supposed to be short and sweet. I think the main issue people had was A) Your stuff gets taken away and you can only use 1 weapon. and B) Nothing but fetch quests. Anyways good luck with it. You will enjoy Honest Hearts at least.

you don't use only 1 weapon in dead money. it had a saw vibe to it, it wasn't great but worth a playthrough.
