For me, the jury's still out as far as the "pause menu/sanctuary" goes. I love the idea and I understand that it is meant to keep you "playing" instead of sifting through menu page after menu page, but I'm afraid it may lose its charm after too many hours of gameplay.

I also thought I saw somewhere the words "final installment of the Fable franchise". Is this true? I really hope not, I love the Fable games!
I kind of thought that too! The few wierd and quirky things about the beginning of the game became actually pretty nice after I caught up with the learning curve.
As far as I know this is supposed to be the final game, but Halo 3 was supposed to finish the fight. We see how that worked out. lol

I actually don't hate the game as much as Fable 2 but I think it's pretty much only because of the fact I've been playing coop with 2 of my friends the whole time. Played with one friend in my game when I started off then when he went to sleep I jumped into my friends game and played with him while getting seals and experience which was pretty cool. He thought it would be a good idea to shoot a villager in the face though at which point we were swarmed by guards whom are a pain in the ass to kill for some reason, you seriously have to melee them like 40 times to kill em, he went on a murder fest and I joined in then we had to do community service to pay our bounties, luckily we were in his game though so it didn't affect my villagers. I still hate the art style and the humor they try to pull off in the game...it just isn't very funny, other than that the games not TOO bad so far.

that was one of the few things i thought was hilariously awesome about my fable 2 character....he was tall, really fat and muscular, light blue veins (but i think everyone got those) and was kinda reddish w/ big dark red demon horns....and now i cant have that? wtf...

Hahaha nice, what ends up playing out better/easier? Should I play bad or good? I've only made like 2 decisions so far so I can easily go either way with my morale once I get going in the story

yea actually he sorta did...except i couldnt have one huge fist D: but, coincidentally enough, my guy was a beast w/ weapons and melee combat..

I'm really diggin it so far but I still need to get a little more used to the Sanctuary pause menu. Is it just me, or is it hard to tell where you are on the map table? I don't mind if the main quest line is a little short. That makes doing multiple characters more fun. I plan on going the good route in my first run-thru and then doing an evil female character next.

Yea the whole map system is fucking stupid, probably the worst type of map I've ever seen in an RPG, the whole lack of any type of in game map is retarded too, also hate goin to the sanctuary every time I hit start, lost its appeal after about 5 minutes in game...
