Alright, I'm getting a new DS or maybe a DSi, not sure which to pick up, so I thought I'd ask you all for your thoughts.

First, yea I know, 3DS in March, but I a) don't care for 3D (vision reasons) and b) its $250, little much for me right now.

Alright. DS Lite, its a used one off Amazon.com for $80, guy has a 96% positive from almost 18,000 feedback. No real outstanding issues in the comment part of the item. Will also be getting Pkmn Black for $40, bring my total to about $125-$130.

Or the DSi and Pkmn Black Bundle from Gamestop for $180. Personally, I was never really into the DSi, I have no clue what else it does aside from take pics and play games. It's new, that's the only big plus I see.

I'm leaning towards the used one, unless a good reason pops up. Thoughts?

No idea bro, personally I was going to get the red Mario Kart special edition DSXL right after xmas, but decided to wait and now I might get the 3ds instead next month. I would suggest finding a nice used one off Ebay and using Bill Me Later through Paypal, then you don't have to pay anything right now and can get what ya want and pay it back within 6 months :)

Get the DS lite, DSi isn't anything special. Unless you want to use Nintendo Shop to get games and the internet browser, DS lite will do the job.
