I didn't really read all of that since I don't like reading reviews (nothing against you Setsuna), I'd rather base judgment on my own playthrough and if I don't like it oh well but if what I'm about to say is in there I'm sorry I just didn't read.
If you press "x" on the front doors of the mansion it reverts the camera back to the old Resident Evil style of camera for all of those people who like to get all nostalgic, but once you leave the mansion it reverts back to the 3rd person shoulder camera. A nifty little easter egg I think.
