i got an elite that when i put disk in it dont read game till after i eject it couple times any ideas on what 2 do or whats wrong with it?

no just says open tray or close it never gets read error or anything

make sure your disc isnt too scratched. if its really scratched then it wont work, because thats usually why it does that.

jk, it's probably a small limit switch that engages the drive once it pushes back far enough. if you pop the 360's faceplate off, there's a manual eject button you can depress. it's probably misaligned internal, but that might jog something free.

no. faceplates are supposed to pop off, thats why they sell diff designs at gamestop and stuff...

Does it do it with all games? Or is it just fear. If its just the one game you may just have a bad disk. If its all games, your drive may be going bad. How long have you had the elite?
