I finally had a chance to sit down, buy this and play it for a couple hours, and man it's great.
More of the same awesome, and then some. The dialogue is particularly hilarious--this is the first time in months I literally laughed out loud at something that was supposed to be funny on my Xbox.
When the soldier mentioned that the orque guards wouldn't be able to distinguish proper identification credentials from erotic equine poetry, I couldn't stop cackling.
Having semi- and fully-automatic firearms for ranged weapons is pretty fuckin' awesome as well.
I already popped 2 gamerpics, 2 avatar awards and an Achievement, not to mention the 2 free DLC thingies.
Overall I am enjoying the hell out of it and I know that even though it's going to be bigger than the first one it will still be over too fast.
I hope they make 2 more, maybe even repackage them as one big retail title for folks that get wet in the pants over paying $15 for a worthy XBLA game.
My only complaint, and it's very minor, is that there is no carry-over from your character in the first game. I am sort of glad you don't just start at level 20 and go up to 45 or whatever and everything just gets incrementally higher, but at the same time it's a little weird to pretend like nothing from the previous game existed except the story... right? or is that just me?

Even though there isn't an achievement for having to do all side-quests, do them anyway, you'll level up a lot faster if you do
Also, the achievement where you have to view both ending is easier then it actually sounds....
There's a save point right before the end and when you view one ending, start your game up and you're able to start from that save point and can view the other...
I'm leaving out any details on purpose cause you'll know what I'm talking about when you get that far...
I'm sitting at 205/215 until I go back and start a new game to get the miss-able achievement...
