Dead to Rights: Retribution already updated to 1250 with new DLC
04/28/10 7:52 am | #1
Dead to Rights: Retribution which released today, April 27th, has already been updated to 1250 achievement points and new DLC has been detailed, dated, and priced. "The "GAC Pack" will be available June 1st for 400 Microsoft Points. It will contain both of the (previously) pre-order exclusive "Jack" and "Shadow" in-game content packs, a new single player story mission called "Assault on the 87th Precinct" and a new "Riot Control" game mode that appears very similar to a Horde/Firefight type deal, fighting a multitude of enemies for points." Doesn't sound too bad for only 400 points, post your thoughts and discussions.

Yea I have I've only played 3 or 4 levels in a few hrs graphis are good, the first level is tight you get a cheeve for bitting someones balls off(as the dog) after that the game feels weird. It has potental but the audio fucked up on me and to my knowledge the is no music in game maybe I have a bad disk or maybe cuz my xbox hasn't been off since Sunday playin viva pinata . The story is cool there are dedicated fighting buttons and so far you don't have your own guns you have to find them off bodies. The acting sounds good the lips sync up lol. I'm done with my mini review now 6.5/10 so far

I rented the game as well and finished it on Detective difficulty, actually thought it was a decent game, the DLC should be fun when it comes out a month from today will have to re-rent..just missing those 10 new achievements, and 8 from the original 50.

@Moon Knight: How difficult is Detective difficulty? I am playing on Officer difficulty so I can pick up the badges at ease. Thinking about going through on Detective difficulty next but I was just curious how difficult it is.
I like this game, yes it can be better for a $60 game, do not ask me why I bought it because I have absolutely no idea, but I did and I am planning on completing it, just taking my time with it and with Red Dead out it has sat on the back burner until last night.
Like others have mentioned the graphics are very good and IMO it seems to have a pretty good solid story line, and voice acting is very well ( there are even a couple really funny parts that I have laughed at during the game) Achievements are pretty easy and the combo achievements can be farmed at the end of the first level (or second I cannot remember) I didn't plan the achievements very well on what I will be working towards so I will probably go through on Detective diff. next and then mop up the rest of the achievements on the easiest diff.
All in all, I think it is a fairly decent game, but not for the $60 price tage...I would give it a 6.5 as well, lol.
Also, controls are weird and the camera can get awfully irritating when your in a firefight.
