haha well i watched my friend try for the past 3 hours lol so that helped alot too
got really lucky though.
i throw a flash bang at my self and then i just started running and shooting and it worked out for me
and you can jump toward them i did and it helped me alot with killing the last dude.
now i just got beat the game on veteran and redo the mile high club for my self.
but he is repaying back with getting me some achievements on WaW.
yay me.

Yep, I had that happen too me...
Frustrating, but sometimes the checkpoints don't seem to trigger if you don't kill all the enemies in the areas you pass through and if you run too fast. If you pass an area where it should trigger, like on the staircase, and it doesn't then I would walk back to where the checkpoint should be. That is what I did and it seemed to work most the time.
Overall, I felt that mission was pretty easy though, so once you get pass the checkpoint issues you should be fine.
