Cheaters/Game Savers/Hackers

I suggest there should be a way to tell if someone is a game saver/hacker right off the bat as in detecting it when new members apply to the site. Its kind of embarassing when u look at the front page and our newest member to the site is a game saver and a blatant one at that who automatically messes up the leaderboards and such as soon as hes admitted to use the site. Is there anyway this can be done/detected? If xbox live doesnt detect the stuff and lets them filter through isnt there anyway we can at least catch it and boot em off the sites and leaderboards?

You give the person too much credit by calling them a hacker, They are called gamesavers or modders.
While this is a good idea, if Microsoft can't really do it, what makes you think we can?

I know Jackson has said this before there is no real way of telling. The staff as seemed to say before that Microsoft will handle it and they will be zeroed. I agree though I can look at any profile and tell if someone has gamesaves (can't tell if they hex edited but then again no one can). I personally think allowing gamesavers to stay on the leaderboard in till being reset by Microsoft kind of makes the leaderboards lose some integrity.
Number 1 for NC is a gamesaver: http://xboxamerica.com/leaderboards/North-Carolina/
I do agree with icon though they are not hackers the use well made programs that a five year old could operate.
I love me some Grease Monkey.

The #1 in NC has no recently played games, that's an easy way to tell, I guess. But how do you catch anyone else? I remember seeing a guy with the "Veteran Gear" ach the second or third week that gears 2 was out. I thought there was no way to get that ach legit so soon after release.

Bay mentioned HEX editing. Can you tell me what that is?

Half the people in the top 100 on the leaderboards are gamesavers. Bay is right, Jackson lets Microsoft deal with it, rarely does someone who joins with over 200k stay on the leaderboards for longer than a week.
It's annoying sure, but you just have to wait it out until the retards get reset, if anything they should be console banned!

I don't have timestamps on a lot of my older achievements, because at the time I didn't have a router, so every time that I wanted to get online I had to unplug the computer, plug in the 360 and reset the modem. It was too much of a pain to do, so I usually played my games offline.

Hex editing is basically legit hacking. For example, a hex edit for call of duty would be like god mode on veteran so basically you can just run threw the levels and get the achievements. There is no real way of tracking this and IMO I believe some of the people high on the leaderboards do it...
In layman's terms it's cheating.

Yeah, it's basically Gamerscore boosting. It sucks, and it proves that they're too much of a wimp to actually play the game.
