I am an admitted castlevania fanboy. But this POS doesn't deserve to be on my game shelf.

Really? Piss, it looks epic and I saw it get a better review than Reach in a few places which I thought was pretty crazy for a single player only game, heard it's like a 15 or so hour game (which means its prolly only 10 ) not sure what kind of replayability it has, are there collectibles and such in it or what?
oh yes........yes there are collectibles

It has hours apon hours of completing the same chapters with different goals in mind. To get 1000 gamerscore in this game is the worst kind of exercise in futility.

God! I got this game a few days ago and beat it this morning and God! I love this game. Everything about it epic and beautiful, its a work of art. I've pretty much mentioned why I adore this game on multiple threads but I think it deserves more praise. Whoever the people are that drew the concept art and design the enivronments for this game deserves awards. The images and environments and gothic ruins are astonishing to look at, one specific area where you're running a across a giant chain between forsaken castle towers in a snowy blizzard. It is jaw dropping.
The score of this game is of the highest calibre and is extremely powerful and moving. From the epic battle sequences to the somber and emotional scenes, the music is perfect, absolutely perfect. Oscar Araujo you are amazing.
Theres so much more I can say about this game, but I don't want to ramble on and make this post too long. All in all, I love this game and everything about it and I honestly believe this is one of the best games of 2010, if not this generation.

its not hard if you play on a lesser difficulty first, you upgrade your character as you progress. So, playing the game and beating the game on normal or easy first is suggested. However, playing on hard first can be a chore and kick you in the ass. Also, after you beat the game, you unlock another difficulty. So again, its suggested to beat the game first, find some of the hidden gems to upgrade your stats before going after the highest difficulty.

Yea I need to get back into this game ASAP, I got to the end of Chapter 1 or 2? Where you fight the huge Ice Titan and it was pretty epic, then I got sidetracked with other games and haven't gone back to it since, loved what I played though, need to beat it before the DLC drops.

I heard the first DLC was coming in Feb and the second in April. I think i got the game at the perfect time, having DLC coming weeks away while I still have plenty of things to still do in the game.

The DLC Reverie came out today and I have to say, I am goddamn furious with this "thing" they call additional content.
Things go smoothly until they force you play as the little vampire girl Laura and fight hordes of ghouls or whatever, considering she has very limited attacks, theres no strategy in the way you fight like when you do with Gabiel. Theres the lack of finesse from the rest of the combat you're used to.
However, that isn't the worst part. Eventually you have to traverse a wall with spinning blades that go back and forth, going through normally is fine, but the trail requires you increase the speed of the blades to the maximum and going through without getting hit. The problem there is that Gabiels movement and animation doesnt mesh well with precision climbing and fasting reacting, resulting in deaths that are caused because Gabiel is in a long ass climbing animation.
Don't be confused, I like a challenge, in fact I look for it, but theres a difference between challenging based on player skill and determination and hard because the game wasn't built to have these kinds of puzzles in them. I feel cheated and robbed, especially considering this DLC is a month late.
Also, its barely an hour long and 10 bucks...

Finished all the achievements for this DLC, glad I never have to play this again. Hopefully MercurySteam will see the error of there ways and blow my mind with the second DLC.

Only an hour long, 800 points, and frustrating? Piss, I was hoping the DLC would be sick, oh well, it still gives me some motivation to finally get around to beating the game, I really like it when I played, just been side tracked and haven't got back to it.
