You can buy 25 ft rca cables for $3-$5

i just realized, the connection is for regular A/V cables, looks like i'd have to bust out mine out of the box since i'm using HDMI xD
and just to be safe, all i need for it to work (assuming the cable reaches) is that $5.95 purchase of one Easy Cap, correct?

I would link you but I'm on my phone, RCA cables are basically composite cables (You know, Yellow, White, Red
just look up composite cables or RCA Cables

Sorry for double post
Well if you want to game directly on pc yea
But if you want to play on tv while recording, you have to do it 1 of 2 ways (Look up "how to setup easycap") the other way being using Monitor/Tv out. You plug the xbox into the tv like normal, then you use the RCA cables on Tv/Monitor Out to the easycap plugged into the pc

#1. Full HD, capture and play in HDMI (Must have a PCIe x1 slot)
Black Magic Intensity Pro/ Shuttle - $199
#2. HD quality through component cables, capture and play with component
Hauppauge HD PVR -$199
#3. Dazzle DVC 100, need three RCA splitters, play and capture standard composite signal
Dazzle DVC 100 Can be found for >$50
I would also recommend the EasyCap, as it neems to be a nice little device that is really easy to setup, and seems to have about the same quality as the dazzle. Although ive never had any personal expierience with it. Also, the Dazzle comes with a pretty good editing program which makes up some of the cost.

so if i wanted to play on the TV while it's recording, i'd have to use the AV/RCA cable instead of an HDMI so that i can plug the Easy Cap into the Video Out? because i don't think Video Out will work with an HDMI port?
lol do i make sense?
