I think the lack of competitive multi-player is what makes it a rental for most.

Very true, and im not saying I am one of those people that needs multi-player to buy a game. I prefer single player games to stay single player games i.e. Mass Effect, Bioshock, Dead Space... Just stating that most people can't justify a $60 purchase for 10 or so hours of gameplay which can be expierienced by renting it.

Yea I was just talking in general terms, there are not too many games these days aside from RPGs that are longer than 10 hours. It's kind of a shame, a lot can be said for replay value though, which in my brief experience with the demo, there seems like Bulletstorm has a chance to have a lot of replay value.
Regardless I'm excited to play it on Tuesday.

Just a heads up to everyone who was wondering, Bulletstorm's single player is 5-6 hours long. The guy I heard that from beat the game on very easy though, so if you play on a higher difficulty im sure it would add an hour or 2.

after bein in this thread and remembering the gow3 beta thing, i went and played some gow2 (also because i might be in a gow2 boosting event later on today) and i actually did pretty good, considering i havent played gow2 in like, forever xD and now im a lil more excited about gow3, its beta, and bulletstorm.

yea i know. i mean when i first started seeing stuff for the game in the first place i was lookin forward to it. i like epics games. unreal tournament 3 was loads of fun, altho ive never like bought it (only rented, but still lots of fun n stuff) so i would get it anyways...then to add the gow3 beta, thats even better
