Browns wouldnt have a winning

Browns wouldnt have a winning chance without josh cribbs, and the funny part is they might lose him because they wont pay him what he is worth. They waited just a little too long to start winning,Their season was doomed from the start picking a center first pick ,what were they thinking. The cavaliers are the best team in cleveland by far, maybe next year browns, maybe.

He's still under contract for at least two more years. He has nobody to blame but his old agent for not getting paid. With that said, I think whomever comes in to run the team will wise up and pay the man. He definitely deserves it.

How much really is a kick returner worth? He's a par if not sub-par receiver (a.k.a. Devon Hester, Ted Ginn Jr., etc.) Let me guess your going to say he can throw the ball to, so does L. Tomlinson and R. Brown and they don't play QB.
I'm sure he's not worth what he's asking!
Congrates on the win Brownies! So much for your number 1 draft pick?

Trust me bro. he's worth it. Yes, until this year he's only been a special teams stud but only within the last few games has our o-coordinator really started to figure out how to use him in this offense. Dabol knows his ass is out the door after this season and is trying to save his job.
But I digest, I think Cribbs is worth whatever he's asking cause he could have held out at training camp or even into the regular season but he said he wants to play because he thinks the fans deserve better and he wants to let his agent handle the business end. He's definitely the best football player on this team who got screwed out of a respectable contract because his first agent was a dipshit.
It's looking more or more likely that Mike Holmgren will be taking over as head of football ops so I'm confident that he'll want to keep Cribbs around. He's not a captain on the team for nothing. His teammates and the fans love him.

So Trade him for draft picks, get Holmgren and rebuild right!
Again is a former Kent State University QuarterBack really worth what he's going to ask for in free agency, when there are more pressing issues to correct on the team before the Wide-Recivers.
Yeah the fans love him but does he love the fans? I know he didn't here at KSU.
Trade him and continue to rebuild.

I don't think you trade him, but the Browns MUST give him an identity. Utility player may work in Baseball, but you can only last a few years in today's NFL doing too many things. If he ends up being on the field for 70% of their total plays, he won't make it to the end of his contract.
I think they need to make him into a running back. He's not an NFL caliber QB and I agree that he's a par at best reciever. He's electrifying as a returner, but he will make kickers eventually start kicking out of bounds just to avoid putting the ball in his hands. And no, nobody will go out of their way to pay a kick returner much more than what he gets now whether he deserves it or not. That's why Denis Northcutt is no longer in Cleveland, and he was actually a decent reciever.

I agree that they should make Cribbs a RB but disagree about Northcutt. He was an average receiver with good return skills who had butter fingers his last couple seasons with us. They let him go because he thought he was worth more money and was a drama queen for the press in the locker room.
That's what I like about Cribbs. He doesn't bring up his contract issues to the press. It's the press that keeps asking him about it. I don't know how he acted to fans at Kent State, even though I was living there at the time, but I think he's matured enough to be a captain on an NFL team and that he has respect for the working class Browns fans. He could be acting like that drama queen Ocho A-Hole did the last two years down in Cinci when he wanted out the queen city.
