Actually, your math is off by a little bit. If you go back nine months from May, the result is August. Not exactly a cold month, last I checked.

Actually "average" pregnancies last about 40 weeks, which is 9.3 months and the first 2 weeks are counted from the last menstrual cycle, fertilization doesn't usually occur until two weeks after the last menstruation, so really a woman is only pregnant for about 38 weeks, which is actually slightly under 9 months.... that's my retort for the day
