awww...fork!

well as you know, in fallout 3 it has its lil karma achievements ok. well recently i was close to level 8, and i kept making some saves ok. pretty normal, as i wanted to have a save where i could lower my karma then level up.

well, it turns out my karma isnt just good, its VERY good....so it takes longer to de-karma myself. i got my achievement for level 8 w/ good karma, pretty easy. but now im trying to lower my karma, but i level up too fast! ive tried stealing everything in moira's store, including killin a mercenary who was in there, but my karma just WONT lower....ive killed moira and the merc, but i level up right afterwards!

is there any way i can fix this? or should i just keep going through the game and start a new one or something??

hmmmm... you gotta' be REALLY close to leveling then.
see, i just slaughtered everyone in rivet city, but you're making it sound like that would be too much XP. stealing stuff is going to take much, much too long to be evil. you pretty much gotta' kill people.

you don't have a save when you were like... half way to level 8?

i dont know...i have lots of alternate saves, most are me at lvl 4 and 6 tho....i have some at lvl 7, but i honestly have no idea how close they are :/

and im not even at rivet city...i had JUST gotten there when i got my good karma achievement :/

well, teh choice is yours buddy!
you could either just keep on keepin' on, or reload all your saves and see if you have one at level 7 1/2 or so. if you DO, you can just run around and slaughter some fools, find a way to level, and bam. achievement. you wouldn't have to continue with this file, too.

that might take some time, of course, but it would take longer to start all over, you know?
personally, when i got to level 8 i never even thought about the cheeves.
my level 8 good and neutral were a couple of the last ones i got.

hmm....i might do that....right now im playin svr 09, cause i thought i was in an infinite loop w/ my save...i even tried loading the save earlier (i have one slave just outside of rivet city, at the stairs to museum station, and i was using that one to try and dde-karma myself...) and it didnt work...cause i think my one outside of rivet and my one in the station (that aricossa or whatever station) have the same exp...i might try again later tho...

no problem man. and good luck.
even if you decide to start over eventually, you'll get to level 8 no problem.
especially now that you have a better understanding of the game.

yea....level 8 just takes some time lol. specially when you have to travel everywhere...

i might try an earlier save. if none of those are decent, ill just start over eventiually
