Arcade Wishlist

I was thinking how few arcade titles I play anymore these days and was imagining what classic titles might get me back into the arcade. Here's just a few favorites that come to mind from my gaming past.

Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Jr
Super Base Wars
Arch Rivals
Genghis Khan
Jerry Glanville's Pingskin Footbrawl
Road Rash or Road Rash 2
Conkers Bad Fur Day

I tried numerous searches and couldn't find a similar thread but I could've sworn seeing one a while back.

NFL Blitz would be great to see. Also some of the old wwe games like No Mercy would be fantastic.

Wasn't that the old NES basketball game where if you weren't dribbling the ball, you were runnig all over the court punching non-stop? That game was awesome! lol

I'd like to see one or more of the Dragon Warrior games come to XBLA. I also agree with Genghis Khan. Turn based strategy FTW!!

Quake 3 Arena definitely. One of the best multiplayer games ever created.

Man the X-men and Simpsons beat 'em ups are such non-brainers for XBLA, someone needs to get off their ass and make it happen.

Quake 3 Arena is coming to XBLA, I used to work for the studio that is doing it. It was actually really close to being finished when my contract ended, with a working alpha build we could test in our free time if we wanted to, I don't know wtf is taking so long.

Hellz yeah! Arch Rivals was a blast! Never an open jumper. Hard fouls all over the place. Jerry Glanville's Pigskin Footbrawl was like the football equivalent where you could club and mace your opponents and if you ran the score up the team that was down would get that super troll that would beat the piss outta everybody. :laugh:

Do you remember playing Genghis Khan so much that the memory battery died and we couldn't save it anymore? :laugh:

Another old game series I just thought of were that old Road Rash motorcycle racing games where you had clubs and chains to swing at the other riders. Loved that shit!

If I could have my choice out of any game from any system I would definately want to see ALL the Resident Evils remastered or even just ported over, Parasite Eve 1+2, Conker, old school Starfox would be sweet, not really sure what else right now may add some more thoughts later.

It'll never happen, but I would love to see Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Super Punch Out, and Excite Bike.
