The Chatpad for Xbox 360 has been priced and will come in at $29.99, bundled with a Xbox 360 Wired headset. The cost is about right for this backlit beauty, although a $24.99 price without the headset would be better.

Anyway, after playing with this thing in Chicago, it is a must buy if you use the chat feature while gaming on yoru 360.

Will a traditional USB keyboard work? It might not be as convenient as having it attached to your controller, but my sister just bought me one of those really nerd fold up keyboards like the kid has in Live Free or Die Hard... If I can just use that, I will.

I think my Xbox Live account is under my dad's name because of some age restriction too. I don't know what it would have been though...
