XbA Summer Tourney Series Aug 16: Halo 3

All,

As promised, here are the details for the XboxAmerica Summer Tourney Series Week 3. This will be Halo 3 week which should be fun and hopefully a large turnout. Its pretty simple, we will play three rounds of Slayer with Unlimited Kills and a 10 minute time limit. The map will be a surprise. Games will be starting at 9 p.m. this week.

XboxAmerica Staff members who will be hosting:

zoboa
Hektic (possibly)

Look for us in the XboxAmerica Chat room about 15 minutes prior 10 p.m. and we will start grabbing people and playing until everyone gets a chance to play.

i cant beleive i missed this! me and my friend were making a map and 2 machinimas lol the machinimas are hilariously retarted and amazing and idk about the map lol he isnt finished (ghandi/tyler)

but that was fun (after the matches lol)

I'll try to be there, but I'm not sure. I didn't like gta4 much at all, but I still have it, so who knows!

Whether you dislike the game or not, just show up to get some points toward winning a prize... Playing with people you know and like may help make the game more enjoyable...Nothing like running over a buddy with a car in GTA IV ;-)

This might be what I need to get going in this game. I haven't even played it online yet. Are there online achievements, I haven't even looked.

There are a few online achievements. I'll show up as long as I have nothing going on.

It's a shame that these tourneys are all games that I'm terrible at! :sad:

I have still had a lot of fun anyway!!

halo 3 was like hilarious. just running around and getting close to people and listening to what theyre saying and then be all like "ahh thats bs i so sliced first!"

althought we shouldve played a smaller map lol. last resort+shotgun/energy swords=fighting in one main area. off my head i can think of a map that would work better, but i think guardian might have (and i have a pretty cool guardian and high ground we couldve used for the rocket/splazer one

)
