No it isn't. I do it monthly and they are more than happy to give it away for sites way smaller than XboxAmerica.com

No, Witness is right. Giving away free redemption codes to petty arcade games isn't at the top of Xbox America's agenda. And probably nor should it be. Just reporting what game(s) comes out every for the XBLA is enough.
He answered the question for me. Perhaps if there was more people here that were interested in digital downloads from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace that could change in the future.
And as far as TK doing XBA nights is definately because HE wanted to and I was not trying to make a reference to any other reason. I am sorry if that is the impression I was giving. I believe it is good on him for doing it! It's not an easy accomplishment to set these things up.
Anyways, back to the subject of The MAW... great game. It seems a bit short, and the achievements are an easy grab, but it was fun and just down-right amusing! Personally, I think it was worth the 800 points. The two unlockable gamerpics and free premium theme just made it more worth wild considering most of these come with a 250 point price tag alone. Kudos to Twisted Pixel Games!

Not my site. No. Perhaps lots of sites.

At different stages of the game you unlock gamerpics, and as majority ru1e points out below, when you beat the game it asks you if you want to install the theme.

If you enter the screenshot caption contest you can. Only three sites so far are doing it: XboxLiveArcade.com, 360Sync.com, and Destructoid.com because arcade games matter! Expect the site numbers to double before March.

Remember that Premium Themes are 250 points. The MAW has two free gamerpics and a premium theme for 800 MS Points. You need to beat different stages of the game to unlock the freebies.
That's a hell of a lot more than what can be said for some retail titles out their right now for under $10.00 USD!
