Yeah i believe your talking about the "Corrupted Blood plague incident". Yeah it was from a raid, and some boss that struck you with a debuff and gave you the infection. And it would drain your life away slowly. But for lower levels, they would killed on instant. People any where near a infected person would get it, and within hours entire cities were infected(Kinda like a real world pandemic lol). But the patched it. Funny shit though.
