If I remember correctly, I know that a couple of folks around here have a Wii, so I was curious who was thinking about getting the Wii Zapper? It's coming out the 19th of November (Just in time for the holidays), is only $20, and comes with Zelda: Crossbow Training. I don't know how great the Zelda game is, but still, the device and a free game for $20? Sounds sweet to me.

I may pick one up. Supposedly it's supposed to be compatible with a number of third-party games, including RE: Umbrella Chronicles, and I'll be playing that :D I was evening considering the Wii Sports add-on pack that Gamestop sells for like $10 to make your Wii-mote look like a golf club, baseball bat, and tennis racket.

I'll probably pick one up to try it out next month. Honestly, if third party developers copy the control scheme in Metroid Prime 3, the Wii might become a much more serious gaming machine for fans of shooters. I'm not sure the Zapper will really add a whole lot, but if it's a comfortable and non-awkward design it might enhance the FPS experience a little.
