So yesterday, a buddy of mine relayed me to a little YouTube video titled something similar to Gamerscore Whore Commercial. As I watched the commercial, which was hilarious:

Dr: I am sorry, we\'re gonna have to take the leg.

Pt: Not enough gamerscore?

Dr: Not even close...

and many other quick-witted quips. However, they did have a list haveway through the clip on what achies you can do to increase your gamerscore so you can get the ladies.... and sadly, I have many of those listed. Maybe all of them.... all but DIG DUG.

I had not heard that DIG DUG was easy gamerscore. I didn\'t know that those who played it could easily finish it in an hour or so... not bad for 200 gamerscore.

So, I purchased DIG DUG yesterday and played it for 20 minutes and nailed 185/200...

How sad is that? I see a spoof on the internet about gamerscore, I recognize an easy gamerscore game I don\'t have... and I buy it rightaway to increase my stats...

If only I could show this much dedication at work.

I love achievement hunting. Hey... it gets me to buy and play games I wouldn't otherwise play. I see no problem with it!

Exactly, I mean I just bought Doom 3 the other day for the Xbox because I got it at a very good price ($ 0.50) and I still haven't played it because I'm unlocking achievements on Superman. My PS2 is collecting dust because it doesn't feel the same not to hear that pop. It's like a added incentive to finish a game

Sheesh, I traded in most of my non-BC xb games and my PS2 and games so others culd enjoy them. I left collecting dust in my hunt for achievements.

The achievement system really encourages me to play more. I think its a great idea. I have a hard time playing WII, DS or XBOX games because I don't get the achievement points!!
There are definately games I play because I love them and don't care about the points, but I do get all excited everytime I get a new achievement! :)
